Ａｐｐｅａｒａｎｃｅ
Vaporwave isn't what you'd call an attractive dragon. Though he doesn't really seem to mind that fact, just as long as they aren't covered in filth. If someone were to describe the most average-looking dragon, the image of this hybrid would come into mind. While his initial appearance might make him stand out, when it comes down to, he's not so different from the average teen. His main scales consist of light purplish pink scales rippling in soft hues across his body with soft intervals of pastel blue-purples rippling in and out upon his neck.
What is there to learn about him? He's just your average dragon with some minor flaws and hardly any strengths. Vaporwave head remains slightly pinker than that of their main scales, followed with innocent light turquoise eyes and strange-looking horns. Most likely the only eye-catching feature of his body is that of his horns, which jut upward instead of behind his head and curve at the end. This makes them appear as though someone took the tips of his horns and bent them backwards. The horns have multiple colors upon them, the most showy part being the scales upon the fronts, fading from a pastel magenta-purple to a rather deep rosy pink at the tips. This is while the hue of his horns in general, hide behind, remaining a soft purple tinged with light blues, ever so slightly.
Then there is the plated scales around his eyes with fade from a deep purple at the tip of his short snout to a deeper hue of purple around his eyes and tinged magenta much like the tip of his horns near the top corners of his eyes. He can be considered a curious sight, if dragons are into things that are lame, but in a nutshell, Vaporwave is a NightWing with RainWing colors that never change. If looking at his full body and not just the head and shoulders, one may see his starry purple socks that stain his paws. This color climbs up his arms and fades away halfway up his forearm. Silvery stars pool in the estuary where the pastel purple ends and the purplish-pink begins, swirling in a pattern-less dance.
His build is somewhat wiry and thin, near the legs and he noticeably slouches, shoulders sagging and head held straight in front or downwards at his talons. The hybrid's wings are rather small, but all the same has a showy underside, whirling with pale pastel purples and pinks speckled with silvery stars. With this, there are his small talons remaining a dark purple in color and while short, they're sharp. His legs aren't very long, nor is he considerably tall, but it's enough to go by, one may find his tail quite long, while not prehensile, it still remains long and curvy. In better description, Vaporwave is a short, stocky and slouching dragonet with a typical expression of either a neutral frown or a friendly smile.
The small, half-circle scales the pad gently across his back are of the same color at the tip of his snout, a deep purple much like a dusk sky after sunset. This is followed by complementary pastel purple dots hovering above his underbelly, this, along with that of his upper scales, go all the way to his tail tip. Spines follow through as well, running along his very back, these however don't look all too threatening, having softly curved edges and being short in size. His nose horn is the same as these, simply a wart upon his nose remaining a light bluey pink similar to that of the color upon his horns with a soft pastel purple-pink much like scales upon the horns. This remains the same pattern and coloration for all the spines upon his head and down to scruff of his neck.
A showy ruff, surrounding the his small ears just bursts with color, much like his wings, really, just with a more casual, pattern-less appearance. Galaxy-like swirls, like stardust, light pink-purples bleed here and there, along with the usual purple and magenta. The edges curve outward, in short arcs, not having a bat like appearance much like his wings. Having said that, pinprick stars of various sizes pad gently across his ruff, in a silvery white coloration. This is followed by a few minor accessories, mostly that of a dull blue cloak hiding his wings and most of his body. The cloak would be starting at neck and flooding downward, it appears more ragged and as though made up tendrils, the separate from each other near the end.
It can be noticed that he has black insect-like eyelashes, these are rather strange looking, but overall are an interesting addition to his appearance.
His scales carry a lukewarm feeling to them and with that carries a scent of fall leaves, autumn rain and pumpkin spice. However, it is unknown how he keeps this scent with him all the time, it just seems to stick to him like glue. Still, not exactly someone you'd see walking down the streets of Sanctuary, he always seems to catch the eyes of everyone, perhaps from his sparkly scales or something else. Vaporwave doesn't have a certain skip to his step, he just walks as is, perhaps quite casual. Even then, whenever he speaks, he doesn't speak with confidence, but still doesn't stutter. Rather, he's loud, probably to grab the attention of everyone around him, or maybe for other reasons. Who really knows, he's a questionable character.

Beautiful, eye catching, fabulous
They don't think much of these words when they attempt to describe themself, not at all. Nor do they really think of these words too much, for they only would use them to describe music or someone else's art. But never in a million years, themself.
Their appearance never really changed, traversing to modern times, although there may be some changes, possibly. Their main scales remain a purplish pink, sparkling in colorful rows, although from their expression, they don't exactly want to make a scene. An embarrassed expression always seems to cross their short snout, usually they're not seen out and about. Nice paint strokes ripple down their scales, coming in many hues of pastel pinks and purples, not just one solid color. Even then, while they may to some appear pretty, they really aren't. Most don't approach them, then again, who would approach a stranger? Besides, they probably wouldn't even be able to keep up a conversation with anyone but their older brother.
Following with are pastel blue boomerang horns, scales on the fronts with a darker hue. Wings sprout from their back and upon the membranes is a splay of colors, swirling with pastel purples and pinks and printed on their wings, pinprick, silvery stars of all shapes and sizes. Each star fails to be left out of their wing pattern, similar to that of a snail's shell. A similar pattern is found of their showy ruff around their ears and while it may not be tucked in neatly, it still remains a sight. Vaporwave's eyes, large and round in size and shape remain sky blue with tints of silver and pastel blues. Thimble spines run down their back, softly curved and changing in regards to coloration. The base coloration running down the crest of their head remains a soft hue of pastel bluish purple-pink with tips of pastel magenta.
This fades out around their ruff into a base coloration of light pastel bluish purple with tips of a light pastel purple. A pastel pinkish purple underbelly flows down their chest, much like their scales, it's soft in shade and nice to look at. The top of their head isn't much different from their other appearances, the main coloration being a deep purple, surrounding their eyes, displaying perfectly their RainWing bloodline. Additionally, the tip of Vaporwave's softly curved snout remains a bluer hue of deep purple whilst the scales running near their horns remain magenta. Flat, deep bluish purple similar in color to the tip of their snout runs down their back in oval shapes, not in one stream, but in multiple pieces.
Build-wise, the hybrid dragonet remains petite, short and rather thin with pillow soft cheeks and short, slightly pointed ears. They don't stand very tall, only about the average size for their age. Common posture for them is slouching, shoulders hunched and head hanging low or eye level to anyone else, they aren't impressive and while possibly eye-catching to the normal eye, Vaporwave fades into the background like any old hybrid. An uncertain look crosses their snout frequently, or a neutral frown and on some occasions, a friendly smile of a humorous friend. Vaporwave's wings remain medium sized but still long in length, followed by talons of a deep purple. However they too remain short and softly curved.
Vaporwave doesn't think too hard when it comes to their clothing choices, usually switching between outfits every few days. They prefer just making the colors of the pants and shirts match or go well together, but no more thought is put into it. On some occasions, the hybrid will put on a black hoodie with a white cat on it, the hood has rather cheaply made car ears on it. The only thing that is a constant is the electric blue, wireless car ear headphones, always attached to a pale pink phone he often hides in his hoodie pocket or at his side between his hip and his pants (because none of his pants have pockets). It's almost guaranteed that at the end of the day, they'll have some sort of stain of their pants, as they use them like a portable napkin.
Even then, a more notable feature if a scar on their right pinky from a knife accident and when they smile, one may see silver braces studding their teeth. Yet no venom-spitting front fangs can be seen, nor anything else possibly interesting about them. However, Vaporwave does have a hot pink tongue, softly rounded instead of forked and to some extent, is quite long. Their scales remain sparkly, with a slightly lustrous, metallic sheen to it, with a smooth touch. Warmth still radiates from their scales, like heat from a SandWing. But still they blend in with the crowd.

"Vaporwave is an interesting hybrid case. With a very selective, but "organized" sense of scales and feathers and fur. Their build and elegance are quite surprising in the case of the often funky looking Night/Rain hybrids.
Unlike most dragons, even NightWings themselves, Vaporwave stands upright. Even those who do stand upright usually have a raptor posture, but they strike a quite elegant balance standing upright, wings splayed for balance. Vaporwave gives off the impression that they're a tall dragonet by doing this, looking down at most other dragons their age when they speak to them, but once they drop down on all fours, it's quick to notice that they're actually quite small.
Another illusion of height and size is their feathers. Vaporwave has a "crown" that puffs up like a, well, crown, and smoothes down like long hair down their neck. There's a similar ruff of feathers on their chest, which they can splay out at will. When not in use, they're often smoothed down quite elegantly in what appears to be a colorful looking tie.
Their wings are like that of their NightWing ancestors, though the talons in place of NightWing's talons are the two fingered claws of a chameleon, or a common RainWing. They're dexterous and Vaporwave can use them to hold things and use tools, it's simply the wings extending from their wrists that would cause them trouble.
Their tail is connected to the webbing of their wings, though overtop this soft skin are even softer feathers, that splay and smooth just as any of the other ones on Vaporwave body.
The majority of Vaporwave scales and fur are quite matte. There's no glimmer or shine to the deep blues to purples and pinks to oranges on their main body. Though, what's really eye catching are the glimmering, sparkling feathers on their chest. A similar shine is apparent in their crown, on their tail feathers, along the ends of their legs and the tips of their talons, but especially on their chest and under their wings." ~ Enigma The Hybrid
Ｐｅｒｓｏｎａｌｉｔｙ
To the normal eye this dragon isn’t much more than that one guy with a beautiful design. Though just approaching them tells you that they’re not as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. While Vaporwave is mostly friendly, loud, and sarcastic, they try not to be rude to anyone just because they're nonconfrontational. Their mood can change rather quickly, though this usually depends on the current topics or when interacting with specific dragons. This can cause them to act more obviously disinterested and irritated without directly stating so, because that's rude.
They have selective mutism, or what he calls “going into his shell,” where he becomes so pent up with frustration or self-hatred (though it's mostly frustration) that he stops talking or acknowledging others until they leave him alone. Honestly, the only thing this causes is them being more difficult to work with and / or help. Additionally, it’s quite shocking how quickly it can escalate to them going inside their shell. It be as quick as specific dragons sitting next to them to just occurring randomly. Though these “random” periods could easily be seen as temper tantrums.
They rarely talk to others unless they approach them first, as they are quite lacking in social skills. They aren't inherently socially awkward, but they aren't socially confident either, only really being able to talk through "jokes" (they don't think themself very funny) and sarcastic quips. They don't have many friends and they often joke about not having any, which is mainly because they don't like reaching out to others. And they find maintaining long-term friendships to be emotionally draining, if not stressful, for reasons they are unsure of. As for romantic relationships, they are... conflicted. They like the concept of having a relationship with someone in that manner, but think actually maintaining one is too draining for them. Vaporwave also has an aversion to intimacy, as it makes them feel gross and uncomfortable inside.
Putting this aside, Vaporwave also shows a lazy, pessimistic, and apathetic side. Where they simply lack motivation at all. This usually occurs when doing schoolwork or when discussing subjects they don’t care about. And they can’t help but show their lack of interest so clearly in their body language. Slumping down and staring out the window at the sky. They definitely don’t pride themself on being so lazy and disinterested, but they're too apathetic to try and fix these habits. Going out of their comfort zone is something they struggle with a lot and actually trying to improve and better themself has never, and likely never will, be their strong suit. They prefer to stick to what they know, what they're good at, what they know they like as opposed to risk change and regret it later.
They are not very compassionate and considers themself quite self-centered, as they struggle to be engaged or attached to anything that doesn't interest them initially. While they used to get worked up over whether they're a nice person or not, they've become so apathetic to really care. They're still sensitive to other peoples' feelings, mostly out of common decency and hating confrontation. While they might not be very compassionate, they're not a jerk and they hate offending or hurting others. They get sidetracked way more frequently then they like admitting and spend 94% of their day slacking off while the other 6% is them actually being productive. Even then, 6% is awfully generous. The only things that keep their attention are the things that interest them and, unfortunately, work doesn't interest them at all.
Even then, they are much more dependent on others, when they’re facing something challenging, they need to have their hand held all the way through it. This is something they really hate admitting. And has admitted to themself that they won’t get far because of it. They struggle forming most opinions and is only 100% sure on a few of them. Often doubts form in their head following the lines of ‘do I really think this?’ or simply ‘if this person has this opinion on something I like, maybe I should have the same opinion because theirs is more compelling.’
Other times they just have trouble fully explaining their opinions and even then these said "opinions," were only formed out of videos they watched.
Despite all of these many, many flaws, there is some good in there... somewhere. They are capable of being polite and they usually are when addressing family (most of the time). As well as some forms of kindness, such as when they give their friends little gifts of artwork that they’ve created. And they do enjoy sharing their creations and art, but also music, with their family (though they often regret it if they react in any way negatively to it). They're fueled by their imagination, it's their coping mechanism to cope with their mental struggles, and they love expressing it through their creations. Though they sometimes question how creative said creations are really, as most of them take inspiration from pre-established ideas or concepts.
They're an ambivert, sometimes they avoid socializing with others since they don't know what to say to them. This usually occurs in public, but it can sometimes happen at home. Other times, they converse with close friends and their older brother. And sometimes, they need to learn when to shut up. Procrastination is their best friend. Often times it takes them forever to complete something and other times they just give up. Since their determination and patient levels are about as high as their self-esteem. With that said, they give up way too easily which leads back into the fact that they're simply very lazy.
Then their comes the very opinionated part of them. The much darker part of them. Their insecurities. Vaporwave thinks of themself as lazy, self-centered, robotic, boring, dependent, and stupid. They generally don’t view themself as that great of a person because of just how many flaws they have, but have come to just accept it and lower their own standards for themself because they don't care enough to beat up on themself anymore. They still don’t hesitate to partake in self-deprecating jokes, usually joking about their stupidity, though that’s the only thing they’re willing to admit, because that isn't as... bad-looking as some of their other negative traits that are more subtle.
They used to, and sometimes still do, sometimes find themself to be a burden to others, a parasite, or just a happiness vampire who sucks the joy out of everyone around them. Vaporwave has a knack for being overly dramatic and exaggerating a lot. One awkward run in with a friend or someone just in general online usually leads to them being too embarrassed to talk to them for an extensive period of time. Thinking that they hate them and never want to talk to them again. They put words into other people's mouths sometimes, making them say things that probably wouldn't think much less say. In short, they put a lot of pressure on their shoulders and deal with lots of self-loathing issues.
Usually they cope with these negative thoughts through listening to music they like or watching videos to lift their spirits. Which really one of the only things that makes them happy and giggly very quickly, very easily. And although they don't speak too much out of conversations (or in them sometimes), they cannot keep their mouth shut during movies or tv shows. At least not when they're watching them with others. They hate this so much about themself but they can't help it. Often they ruin the show experience for everyone else but that's because words flow out of their mouth like a waterfall.
Vaporwave worries quite a bit, but not too extensively... sometimes. They worry about accidently breaking the rules, they worry about offending others, they worry about accidently saying contradictory information or anything that might be inaccurate scientifically. But the thing they worry about the most is growing up into a bigger failure than they already are. It's one of their deepest fears. They fear they won't make it through their complete education and they fear crashing and burning as soon as they're on their own.
In short, Vaporwave isn't that great of a person. But some might think they are because they only really see the good side of them. Not the gargantuan mess that is their bad side.

used to bond over steven universe, but now they just chat about video games and general character analysis. all their interactions with her have been positive and they really like sharing their creations with her and learning about the cool stuff she's been working on. sometimes goes to her for constructive criticism on their work, which they really appreciate to help improve their stuff.
There are few friends they think of as fondly as Pothos. Not only did she leave a huge impact on the hybrid's life, but she was also an inspiration to them on not only characters, but artwork as well. They adore her art style, coding, and characters, finding them all to be unique and creative takes on their respective mediums. It wasn't even a question that Pothos had skill and that was perhaps the thing they admired the most about her. Her art style was unique and it has inspired them in some cases, mostly in their earlier work, though they also have taken inspiration from her coding style, finding it equally unique. The two mainly bonded of a shared love of Hollow Knight and Vaporwave can remember fondly the times they spent talking about it.
Additionally, they did also talk about Earthbound (though Pothos took her leave from the wiki before Vaporwave got into the meat and potatoes of the game) and music. They will admit that she introduced them to a lot of different things that they ended up enjoying a ton, even if it was mostly inadvertently. These namely included Hollow Knight (now one of their favorite games), Off, Caravan Palace (now one of their favorite bands), and electro swing in general. Overall, the hybrid would consider Pothos one of their closest friends on the wiki and hopes they can chat with her someday.

Frosty is pretty well-liked in Vaporwave's head. While their opinion of her has mellowed down to just positive from a lack of communication between the two, they overall have a generally positive view on the hybrid. They find her coding is be gorgeous, her writing to be inspiring, and her character concepts to be interesting. While they don't think her coding is that complex, it's the simplistic nature of it that makes it so good. He did enjoy talking to her when she was still around, and has been inspired by both her and Nixie when working on a few of his codes. He finds it very amusing that the two of them share the same exact birthday. It's also worth noting that Vaporwave likes her taste in music and occasionally did ask for song recommendations from her.
Overall, while he hasn't spoken to her in a very long time, he's still thinks highly of her and enjoys occasionally looking back at all the characters she's created just to view to beautiful code. He doesn't really know what she's up to now or how she's doing, but he hopes she's been doing well.
What is this? An awesome friend? Well, of course! There is no one better in this entire world than Cupid, that's a fact and nothing can change that. They love their wiki sister and are incredibly comfortable talking to her and therefore enjoy her company and friendship. Having said that, Vapor finds her incredibly funny and amazing to talk with, they both seem to be victims of the same common interests. For, they both want to take a stand to protect animals in some way or another. Who would've known that it all started out with Cupid welcoming them to the wiki and then their relation blew through the clouds after that. If anything, they enjoy talking to her and find her ideas for characters and art mind blowing and incredibly inspiring for them.
With their relationship, comes art, something Vapor likes doing for her once in awhile, as though talking isn't enough for them. Although, the hybrids first thoughts on her now are if they can keep up this relationship, they just hope they won't disappoint her as of now. Then again, they don't wander upon this thought too much, already enjoying talking with her. To full extent, Vapor loves their wiki sister a lot and would be willing to help her in any way they can. As pointed out, this is a very positive relation and they'd like to keep it that way and as far as they're concerned,
Can have some troubles actually having a genuine conversation with her because she speaks in short answers and gives little insight (something they themself have trouble with, so they can't blame her) into things. Wants to have more meaningful conversations with her, but doesn't really know how from their past chat history.
Vaporwave isn't particularly close with this dragon and rarely, if at all, talks to her. They do find her coding to be incredibly complicated, creative, unique, and beautiful and they really admire her for that. From what little times they've talked to each other, they can say she is a pleasant individual. Does also like some of her taste in music, particularly the songs done by Lorde. Wishes they could talk to her some more, but doesn't really know of a way to contact her. Overall, has a fairly neutral opinion on Peachy, but nevertheless admires her creative work in the art of coding. In fact, some of the features she's done has inspired some of Vaporwave's own coding, though they doubt they'll ever be as good as Peachy.
they're cool! he loves chatting with them, although it has been awhile. they really like their art and hope to be able to draw like them someday in the future. finds their ideas quite creative and interesting along with their coding abilities. he just wishes they'd update their pages a bit more often,,, in some cases, finds them quite relatable and in some cases, just plain humorous.
Liked Misty's art style when they were younger and they enjoyed looking at her characters. Hasn't talked to her for a long time, so most of their opinions on her have become very neutral. Still thinks her characters are quite creative and interesting.
Doesn't have any strong opinions on her as he hardly ever spoken to her and doesn't know much about her. He's never really connected with her over any of her interests, as they rarely shared any except Undertale. Overall, doesn't have anything less than neutral opinion on her. Still finds her an overall pleasant individual.
Vaporwave won't deny that Clover has been somewhat of an inspiration to them, mainly in the field of art. While they weren't as close as the hybrid would've liked, they do appreciate how generous she was towards them, showering them in artwork just out of the blue. While they enjoy her sense of humor and sarcastic remarks, sometimes they find it a bit difficult on whether she's joking or not. It's never extreme enough that it's hurtful and they doubt she holds any ill-will towards them. The two were a bit closer in the past, with their relationship just falling off after awhile.
The hybrid does ultimately enjoy this dragon's company, finding her artwork and character designs to be quite remarkable. She even introduced them to Oneshot, Tangle Tower, and Gris, all games they've greatly enjoyed playing. They don't really interact with her anymore because they can't find anything to connect with her over. Also has a tendency of feeling very self-conscious around her because she has things going on in her life that sound fun and interesting and they just... don't. They want to talk to her about engaging stuff, but they can't without sounding like a robot and looking back and how they've previously chatted with her, they can certainly see how... robotic they sound.
It's was nice talking to her while it lasted, but now it's time to let go. Might finally try talking with her again when they've worked themself out and actually have things going on in their life worthy of talking about.

Ever since learning that Wildfire liked Hollow Knight too, they've been excited to chat with her about it and since then, have picked up mile-long conversations with one another. They for one, have enjoyed looking at her interesting character concepts and art styles. This is mainly due to their keen interest in her characters and love of the SkyWing's art style. Vaporwave safely considers this dragon a good friend, perhaps even a best friend, of theirs. The interesting thing is, it all started when she decided to stop by their message wall and say hi and from there, a positive relation of multiple interactions sprouted. While it has been a long while since they last chatted, they're proud to announce that Wildfire is an incredible being to have around.
Wildfire, along with Pothos and themself are the ones who make up, what they call, the Hollow Knight Club Trio. Still, they wonder what has become of her for it has been months since their last conversation. No matter, Vaporwave hopes to see more of her in the future and continue chatting with their friend for a long while. It's the least they can do for her, after all, they do think highly of her, of both her art, her incredibly creative ideas, but more importantly her in general. Vaporwave just hopes they can stay being her cool friend into the far future.
While they wouldn't say they were close, they definitely considered her a friend. They found her art to be incredible and her characters even more so.
They compliment each other, like creamer to coffee, not only are they birth twins, but fairly good friends. Vapor loves talking with this tribrid and equally adores her well-developed characters and coding, they wish to become like her, code like her in the future and they're really working on that. Who would've thought this friendship started after giving her a piece of art and welcoming her to the wiki. Things went uphill after that and they have been friends ever since that day, or at least they think they have. Whilst keenly interested in learning more about her and gaining a closer relationship with her, they must say she's been a role model for them. For the most part, they find her a gifted writer and definitely an interesting one nevertheless, they've come to look up to her a little bit and overall just hope they'll stay friends for a long time.
birth twin. loves hanging with her and finds her awesome and a gifted writer, wishes to write like her one of these days. they always love her characters and spends hours looking at them, listening to the theme songs and the characters in general. wants to get to know her better so they can hang out some more, they like her taste in music too and have found common interests that way! they both like thefatrat and vapor would love to chat with her about it a bit more. mind is also blown by her coding and honestly, they see her as a bit of a role model, they want to become like her, for right now, they'll watch her develop her characters and see if they can do the same.
a cool artist that they've just recently met and honestly,,, they like this dragon, she's nice and in some cases quite humorous. although they don't know much about her or where this relation is taking them, vapor hopes to become closer friends with this cool seawing in the future. perhaps share come creative ideas now and then. they know for certain that they adore this dragon's art, it's just so pleasing to the eye, they hope to concoct something like that too someday.
They have very neutral thoughts on Gemma, having not interacted with her for a long period of time. They do remember being somewhat fond of her, though, with all their interactions being positive. Vaporwave liked a few of the characters she created, mostly for their interesting and appealing designs. The two have some similar tastes in music and Gemma also inadvertently introduced the hybrid to several great songs and they still listen to on occasions for nostalgic reasons. While they ultimately have a rather neutral opinion on the RainWing, they still keep a few memories of her in their mind vault for safekeeping.
Vaporwave finds this dragon intriguing, not only that but they would admit they admire her, the interesting characters she makes, the incredible art. Everything. They confirm that she's a very interesting and cool being who got them interested in Lord Huron (not that they were not interested in the band to begin with but meeting with her helped), in which became a nice little interest they could chat about with one another. Along with Of Monsters and Men, a band they've been so into for years. Vaporwave loves talking with Doe, not just because they share a few interests with one another, but also because she's admirable. Now they're kind of interested in getting into other things she's into, just so they can expand their horizons. And so they can have another topic to chat about with the MudWing.

- the second character i've ever made on this wiki, with the first being lionheart, who has since been turned into astro. vaporwave's creation date is january 1st, 2018.
- the only time they're ever sensible is in video games.
- has been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and selective mutism.
- originally, vaporwave was going to be associated with space pirates. also they had this weird green venom and lived in an orphanage. at this time, they had a much happier personality. but since that never really described me too well, i changed it.
- another more recent concept was giving them a pencil that could bring what they drew with it to life for a short period of time. they were to meet time travelers who'd come to find the "chosen one," to bring color back to the world after it was stolen by a being named saturation. this was scrapped and i decided to not give them a history since my history is boring.
- name originated from the filename of a drawing of someone's character named nightpainter. this character was also the main inspiration for the original design of vaporwave.
- all their dragonethood was was the pokémon anime, minecraft, cartoon network, disney junior, nicktoons, my little pony, and cringey youtube videos.
- thinks they'll never find a love interest because they've never felt attraction in their life and has never noticed when someone is interested in them.
- swears a lot in their head, but never really says any of it out loud unless they're alone or with their brother. this is mainly because they don't want to be judged for swearing.
- realized they were aro-ace and non-binary through vivid dreams they've had. don't question it, it only makes sense to them.
- tends to take things at face value and doesn't tend to interpret things because that takes too much effort. will only really start theorizing or analyzing if it greatly interests them.
- thinks they're the unfunniest dragon in the world and claims that's why they don't have friends.
- feels like almost none of the stuff they do is original and constantly worries if the characters they make are actually just following a bunch of clichés that they didn't know existed.
- might overthink some things a bit too much, especially when asking for things. other times they worry about stupid things.
- would react to jealousy or theft of their content as a form of flattery. like, my content was good enough that people wanted to steal it / were jealous of it??
- when daydreaming, they often instinctively make faces that the characters in their daydreams are making. gets defensive when people point this out and prefers if no one comments on it.
- chews on the inside of their mouth when bored. instinctively does it and they don't know why.
- also enjoys chewing on plastic water bottles, spoons, and forks when they're provided to them.
- when they get into something, they REALLY get into it. vaporwave won't shut up about it for months. they only dislike this fact because they have no one to share their obsessions with or anyone who actually interested in what they're saying.
- and the people who do share their obsession are more experienced at the game than them, which often makes them feel underqualified to actually talk about it with them.
- their current obsession is cult of the lamb, their one true love.
