The Swindlers from Beyond The Grave would be a humor (or my attempt at it) mystery with all the dead thieves, rouges, and con men rising from a Victorian like town set in a fantasy backdrop. The reason why is "a rogue accidentally set off an old magic totem. So the protagonist, which will be anyone I don't care, will be paid to get to the bottom of this dilemma that everyone is confused about.
The dead act like normal people generally.
