A chubby MudWing too lazy to do anything except collect candy, but always with pranks on mind, not that he ever carried them out. A SeaWing bored enough to do anything, especially egg the house of the dragon that refused to give candy. They made a good pair.
So they walked together towards the next house, discussing evil ideas. Well, the MudWing suggested them, and the SeaWing would latch on and figure out how to make it happen. All the way to the next house.
They rang the doorbell, a black cat and a white bird, side by side, ready to vandalize if their one wish wasn’t granted. “Trick or treat!”
Movies, dinner and sand baths out of the way it was time for the SandWing to lie in bed and play some games on his favorite video game console; the Mindeno Swap. A hybrid home and protable gaming console. Who knew?!
He didn't have any Halloween specific games, but in Minceraft, a boat building block game with the objective being to beat the beginner dragon in the beginning dimension, he put up pumpkins on his boat. Did that count? Sure, why not.
Just as he was sailing to an island in search of more pumpkins he heard the sound of his door bell ringing. He paused the game and looked at his time. It was late. How were there still dragons trick or treating? He never went out that late!
Either way, he got up with a dramatic groan and walked all the way over to the door and opened it. "Hello you two. Sorry to say, all out treats." He said with a frown.
The MudWing growled ominously. The SeaWing shot him a worried look, before staring at the SandWing hopefully. "Anything else sweet?" he asked, "It doesn't have to be candy- soda, pastry, something?" he prodded the MudWing quietly, "Let's at least try to get candy first, alright?" he whispered.
Pirate rang the doorbell, prepping herself. "T-trick or treat?" she asked in a sad voice, holding out a colorful bag with only a couple of cough drops in it. The hybrid gave the door a sad look, her eyes big and shining with what looked like tears.
She wore an adorable cat costume.
"Aaah, relaxing." The SandWing purred to himself as he laid in a heated sand bath. Living away from the sand kingdom was harsh, even more so in the colder times of the year. But with his sand bath, it was as if he had a piece of the sand kingdom with him! ...Which was the slogon for the product.
As he was getting ready to doze off he heard the oh so familiar sound of a ringing door bell. His eyes shot open and he let out a long sigh. He had nothing to give! The last dragon was a little sad if not a tricker, so that didn't bode well.
He got up and shook the sand off of himself and marched into the kitchen. What could he give... hmmm... Did soda count? He used to get in sometimes during treat or treating in his youth, so why not? He grabbed a coule of em and walked over to the door, opening it. "Hello there!"
Mer slipped up to the porch in the dim evening light. Her plan? At least 24 pieces of candy. That was about one for every two weeks. It seemed easy really, she'd seen dragonets lugging bags almost as large as they were. But nobody wanted to give candy to such an obvious hybrid. The feathers of her parrot costume were now mostly sagging or broken, especially when they had been caught in doors slammed too fast in her face. Still, Mer had her mind made up. Just a piece of candy every two weeks or so. That's not much at all, is it. So despite the disgusted looks from others she had continued on her carefully planned route.
Now, talons shaking slightly despite her best efforts to control them, she reached up and pressed the doorbell.
Nothing like having watched the Rain of blood trilogy to get into the Halloween spirit. But... what now? A scary story? The curse of Blister was always a good one. Maybe a video game?
No, no. Uh. Not that one.
"Hmmm..." He thought, tapping a talon on the arm rest of the couch he was sitting on. The night was still young--okay, not exactly since the flow of trick or treaters has begun to slow, but--
DING DONG! As if on cue, there was the door bell. He let out a small sigh and got up, walked over to the door and opened it slightly. "Hello?"
Slashhhh! Scream! The sounds came from the TV as the pale yellow SandWing watched some spoopy movies. It was getting late, and a stomach fully of Halloween dinner made one a tad sleepy.
"Dragoness, don't go in there!" ...And they went in there. Suddenly, a loud knock came from the door which made the sandWing jump. "Ah!" He got up and looked over at the candy bowl. Empty. Looks like whoever was knocking would be getting no candy.
He got up and went over to the door and opened it "Sorry, nothing left--huh." No one was there. Perhaps a ding dong ditcher. He poked his snout out and looked from side to side.
The SandWing jumped back, letting out a yelp of surprise. It was a RainWing. More scary yet, a hissing RainWing! Those fangs were always a sight of terror. Even more so after watching Rain of blood 2.
"Sorry, I don't have any more!" He exclaimed, then cleared his throat. "Ran out, uh... a little bit ago." He wasn't going to admit that he ate the last bit of the candy. Come on, he deserved some treats too! "Maybe try the next house? Anyway, goodnight." He slowly closed the door.
