Project 1846-6478 is an...abomination, obviously. It's extremely large, bulk, with absurd features, and fire-bellied net patterns on its belly and dirty amber scales. It has a thick, large tail, usually used to bash heads in I'd say. Its skin is baggy and thick, and it lacks wings. It has two heads. We have labeled them head one and head two.

Head one has these dark grey eyes that do nothing but stare. Creepy.

Head two has fire-red eyes. It used to be staring like its first head, until we started tests. It's aggressive and hostile.

Both of them have sharp teeth that stick out of their maws like a crocodile. Large eater. Just sayin'.

EDIT: Okay um. An incident happened. Not gonna get in...too deep. Just. We tried to contain it to a safe environment. Someone cut off it's tail. It grew right back.

EDIT2: OKAY THIS CREATURE IS OUT AND ABOUT OUTSIDE WHY IS IT EATING IT'S OWN TAIL

RECORDING 02:

It's been doing nothing but staring. Head two is starting to become more aggressive whenever we start tests.

Note II: disregard that first note, I just lost a claw
T E M P E R A M E N T

1846 is not... too aggressive. At least, head one isn't. It allows tests, but just stares at us, which is actually terrifying. It doesn't trust us, however. Whenever head one sees us, it backs away to the corner, and stares at us. Moons, I wish it stopped doing that.

It doesn't seem to like anyone. A lot...quiet at times. Doesn't seem to get too angry..

Head two is a different manner. Before tests, it was exactly like head one, staring. After tests, it starts to get more aggressive, snarling and hissing and flashing its teeth at us. In water, both of the heads are on a rather...same meaning.

It wants to kill us in the water. This is getting more and more concerning to say the least? ...I wish I could leave DAMMIT left this here

EDIT: Actually we let it in the water and someone came by and it just...ate him. I can still hear the screams. 1849 is the most endangering creature in this entire place. Dragons around here are calling it more dangerous than anything that we had before.

RECORDING 03:

Project 1864 doesn't seem to talk. It seems to know common dragon speech, but refuses to comprehend our words.

Note III: Stubborn.
H I S T O R Y

I remember when our boss found out all the lab creatures in here fled. Why is that I'm always the punching bag around here. Anyway, we had a donor MudWing, so obviously who else was there to experiment on her eggs? Me as usual.

After all the entire gene giving stuff, we got an egg. Of course, because I did work, I have to "care" for this creature. It came out quiet, which was nice. Better than most of the experiments we had back. Most of this is just gonna be rambling if ya don't mind.

I had to watch it, because it seemed relatively quiet and behaved. Passed most of the tests I'd say. Anywho, when it got a bit older, it had gotten HUGE, larger than most of the experiments when it was their age (about 5 months I'd say?). Immediately, we saw some...rather? Frightening change. After experiments took place, it's second head (it's like a hydra MudWing...thing) bit off my claw and kept going.

I had to go to the emergency room. Turned out this "little, quiet, not aggressive and the future creature to bring us to power" definitely has a mind of it's own.

EDIT: Okay, uh, haven't wrote this in a while, but this thing just spoke. Should I be scared? Probably. With our boss outta control, it's not being safe anymore. If I have to keep watching this creature become more and more dangerous, I'm outta here!

RECORDING 04:

crackling of static sounds, followed by screams, water, the sound of crunching bones, and growls. the static cuts. there's nothing left to hear

Note IV: it just killed someone
C A P A B I L I T I E S

In a whole, 1849 is rather quiet, and doesn't make noises, which is weird. It seems very dangerous, but so far hasn't made a move? We're not ready to call it the next "savage" yet. (Hehe!)

Physical

It's uh, large and bulky and large, about two dragons up, two dragons thick. It just...lugs around slowly like some sort of...creepy night monster. It has thick and large scales and skin (we got some form it's shed skin, literally 8 inches width? We should honestly be scared.

Strength

Creature 1846 is probably the most strongest creature we got here? We recorded it's overall bite power is about 3700 psi, maybe even stronger than the mugger croc in it's blood, yikes!

Despite it's superb, rather creepy...and unnatural strength, it lacks a lot in speed. It looks more capable at like? Defending and attack. Has the thick croc scales yet slick skin for that. Aaaaand double heads.

Regeneration

For some reason, they wanted it to have both croc and salamander in it's genes? So I guess that means it can regenerate it's limbs. Yeah. We cut off it's legs for experiments (pain medication of course we don't want to lose our heads) and within two hours they grew back? It was concerning, to say the least.

It seems more animal like, so obviously it's bound to do some crazy crap. Just the other day head one got stuck in the vent and we couldn't get the head out. So like? We chopped off the head. But of course, it grew back! Fantastic! Sarcasm.

EDITED

Bestiality

1846 is not a dragon. Not like in an "edgy" way or "I'm not like other girls" kind of trope, ya know? This...monster we created. It's not a dragon at all. It's full on animalistic. ...Maybe some parrot, it talks I guess?

In all honesty, this creature is not safe. If it escapes, it needs to be killed or captured immediately. It cannot leave at all. Either we kill it, or someone else does. I swear to the moons that if the board says ANYTHING along the lines of "oh but it's our magnum opus!" or "but it's so cool!" I'm leaving this place. I'm outta here.

RECORDING 05:We're keeping this creature...off limits.

Note V: we gotta be careful

I N T E R A C T I O N S
Me, Aethiopica of the SeaWings: 1846 is...not the nicest to me. I'll admit that I was actually pretty close to this monster when it was younger. Now I just feel like it has me in it's jaws. I think it likes to torment me more over the others. I have a veeeery possible theory that it wishes I was near them so it could kill me. Good thing I'm a coward, ha!

Other members of the Place: Uh, yeah, hates them almost to the same degree as me. Even though it hates me, they seem to maaaaaybe hate the board more.

Poor Tumbleweed of the SandWing: Tumbleweed was a great guy, to be honest. I'm sad to see him go through a...not so great way out. I thing 1846 knew I liked him probably. Tumbleweed strayed too close and then, uh. Too late. Got vored.

RECORDING 06:It's looking at the walls. It spotted the camera above it. Now it's staring again. Great

Note VI: I'm being stalked

PROJECT: 1846-6478-185
I mean, I used to call him Lernaean, but ever since several terrible incidents, 1846 it is!

Tribal Donors: MudWing (blood egg maybe? we just got it's egg cell)

Other Donors: Mugger Crocodile (crocodylus palustris), Fire Belly Newt (Japanese, cynops pyrrhogaster)

Summary

After the entire scandal of all our projects leaving and breaking out, the board wanted a creature more obedient yet more powerful. Not a great combination ugh.

Anywhoooo, just the same thing I wrote in history, we got a donor for her egg cells to make this creature! Yay. I just harvested the egg and put in the genes they wanted me too.

Only two weeks later when I actually know what genes got put in, am I really concerned, like YIKES. Put in mugger croc because they're so strong, and also fire-bellied newts to have them regenerate. Also they're supposed to be "friendly." Damn shame they fell for that with 1846.

A lot more deadly with animal cunning, so uh. Not good on their part.

Physical Status

1846 is really large and muscular. Like. Wow. About two dragons high? It keeps...getting bigger, one centimeter a day.

It's not...fast though. Just "wades" on the floor, like some sort of creepy sea monster just floating about slowly. It lacks wings, but makes up for it's strength and general speed in the water. In the water? Rally fast. Almost as fast as a bird flying in the air! Even though it's large, it just...flows rather gracefully through the water.

Master at staring contests.

Skeletal

We took X-rays a while ago, and it has the basic dragon structure but? There's this weird cluster of marrow under the spine connecting to the head. Extracted some and it seemed to harden real quick? This is probably what makes their heads come back.

We cut off it's left foreleg, took an X-ray, and didn't see much difference. Except the strange marrow stuff came back over the spot. That's about it I think

Extra Notes

  • okay time for the actual stuffs that I don't have to ramble in the trivia!
  • the same eyesight as a bird, can see the ultraviolet light around us
  • sensitive skin, able to detect any disruption in the water
  • very snappy

Scales and Feathers

Just scales! Really really really thick scales. I already listed them somewhere, but like? It's extremely thick. It's hard and dry too. In the water, it's a lot softer and? squishy? But because it's so thick, we can't tear it by talons. There's a lot of muscle and dead skin EVERYWHERE. Gross.

EYE COLOR: dark grey eyes

MAIN SCALE COLOR: grey-ish brown color, like a dusty newt and wet croc

SECONDARY SCALE COLOR: orange, has a bright orange tongue

ACCENT COLORATION RANGE: near black

HEIGHT: 11"

WINGSPAN: no wings

LENGTH: 10'8"

Growth Chart

Time Note
Hatching Came out of the egg staring. A lot more...cuter than I expected to be honest! A calm before the storm if this guy turns out more hostile!

11 Months ALRIGHT I've been neglecting this but uh. I just lost my claw to it. It's looking at my talon now. I gotta bring this up to the board??

"Power" Advancement

Went from strong to VERY STRONG! I'm concerned.

Sparring Data

We're all too anxious and scared to actually...confront 1846. We just send out failed experiments in there. Even when they attacked, it didn't react at all. Didn't seem to attack the more weaker yet animalistic experiments. The more hostile or dangerous, it attacked. Often just one snap and the experiment bled out. Everytime it's jaw went down, boy howdy. That part ain't there anymore.

RECORDING 07:It's eating something. I think it got another experiment.

Note VII: stop eating dragons please

T R I V I A
  • it's a lot more scary than anything we've encountered. even the board doesn't want to be five feet close to its enclosure
  • seems to enjoy biting off its own limbs??
  • it smells the feathers of the avians we had a while ago. being some croc in it, it looks like it wants it's teeth cleaned
  • most of these aren't trivia at all I'm just jotting things down
RECORDING 08:"You hear me. You regret."

Note VIII: this is a BIG OLE RED ALARM

G A L L E R Y
RECORDING 09:"You scared. I t'ink I take what mine. I leave. I leave, good luck try find me."
